Founder's Corner
I am Chef Deepali Sawant, founder of pastry school Deepalis Academy of patisserie and culinary art, freshly baked by Deepalis cloud kitchen and India’s First Bread Academy, where I am passionate about empowering individuals to become professional pastry chefs. My pastry school offers comprehensive certification programs designed to turn passionate bakers into skilled professionals. With a strong focus on ethical, preservative-free baking, I provide hands-on training in everything from classic French pastries to advanced bread-making techniques. The goal is not just technical mastery, but also fostering confidence, independence, and entrepreneurship, especially for women looking to make their mark in the culinary industry.
Alongside the academy, I run Deepali’s Bakery, a cloud kitchen dedicated to crafting artisanal breads and pastries. We follow a strict ethical baking process, using no preservatives, added gluten, or premixes. Our products are made daily with whole wheat flour fortified with vitamin C, offering vegan and gluten-free options to meet a variety of dietary needs. With an all-women team, we ensure that everything is prepared with the utmost care, quality, and hygiene—baking that you can trust, just like what you’d serve your own family. Together, my academy and cloud kitchen embody my mission to create a legacy of wholesome, professional, and ethical baking.
